Do I need to create an account?
No. Open the builder and start typing. Your progress is saved automatically in your browser so you can come back later on the same device.
How do I download my CV as a PDF?
Click Download PDF in the builder. In the print window, choose Save as PDF as the destination and keep paper size at A4. On phones, use the share/print option and select "Save as PDF".
Is my personal information safe?
Yes. Everything you type stays in your own browser's storage. CV Dost does not upload or store your CV content on any server. See our Privacy Policy.
Will my CV pass Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)?
Our templates use real text, standard section headings and a logical reading order, which is what ATS software looks for. For best results, use the Classic or Minimal template for large corporate portals.
Can I edit my CV on another computer?
Use Export to save a small backup file (.json). On the other device, open the builder and use Import to load it back.
What's the difference between a CV and a resume?
In India the terms are used almost interchangeably. A resume is usually a 1–2 page summary; a CV can be longer and more detailed. CV Dost works for both — just add as much or as little as you need.
