This Privacy Policy explains how CV Dost ("we", "us"), operating cvdost.com, handles information when you use the website, the CV maker and the biodata maker.

1. Your CV and biodata stay on your device

Everything you enter in the CV maker or biodata maker — including your name, contact details, work history, photo and signature — is processed inside your web browser and saved in your browser's local storage so you can continue later on the same device. We do not upload, receive or store your CV or biodata content on our servers. Downloads (PDF, Word, image, text, backup) are created in your browser.

You can delete this data at any time with Clear or Delete this CV in the makers, or by clearing your browser's site data for cvdost.com.

2. Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and performance. If analytics is switched on, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand overall usage — for example, how many people start or download a CV and which designs they choose. These events do not include the content of your CV.

3. Cookies and third-party services

• Google Analytics may set cookies to measure visits. You can use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
• If we offer subscriptions or contributions through Google (for example Google Reader Revenue Manager), sign-in and payment are handled by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. We do not see your card details.
• If we show advertising in future, ad partners such as Google may use cookies to show relevant ads. You can manage personalised ads at Google Ad Settings.
• Fonts are hosted on our own server; no font requests go to third parties.

4. Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply. We never sell personal information.

5. Children

CV Dost is intended for users aged 16 and above.

6. Your rights

Because your CV data lives on your device, you control it fully. For anything else we may hold (such as emails you sent), contact hello@cvdost.com to access or delete it. We aim to handle requests in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We may update this policy; the date above shows the latest version.
