About CV Dost
"Dost" means friend. CV Dost exists to be a friend to every Indian job seeker — from a fresher at a campus drive to a nurse applying to a hospital in Dubai.
Who builds CV Dost
CV Dost is built and run by Chandan from Kolkata. Chandan has spent more than twelve years in marketing and outreach, including years of working with schools, colleges and institutions across East India — and reading a lot of CVs along the way. CV Dost grew out of seeing how many capable people lose out because their CV is hard to read, missing basic details, or in the wrong format for the job.
What we believe
- Clarity wins interviews. A recruiter spends seconds on a first scan; our designs put the important information where the eye lands.
- Indian jobs have Indian formats. Declarations, father's name, education tables, Hindi and Bengali headings, biodata — we support them properly.
- Your data is yours. No sign-up and no uploads. Your CV stays in your browser.
- Advice should be practical. Our guides use real examples and plain language.
How our content is written
Every format page, job sample and guide is written for Indian job seekers and reviewed by Chandan. Samples use fictional names and placeholder phone numbers. If you spot something wrong or out of date, please tell us — we update pages regularly and refresh all formats every January.
